Forced scoring

Starting with version 2.12.13 of learningBOX, a forced grading feature has been added. This feature allows you to forcibly grade tests whose status is still learning (suspended), eliminating cases where tests are left ungraded.
Please note that this feature is an optional value and is only available for quiz/test materials with the suspend and resume feature enabled.

In this page, we will introduce how to use the forced grading function.
The compulsory grade range is for materials that have never been graded "Pass", "Fail", or "Waiting" in the past. You will be graded on your most recent grade.
 

How to use the forced grading function

Since this is a practice, we will use the solutions of tatsuno-system+user1 and tatsuno-system+user2 as examples.

In tatsuno-system+user1, 5 questions are solved, and it is interrupted.

 

Complete 5 questions and click the Stop button to end the study.

 

Click Return to previous screen.

 

When you return to the Learning screen, the status will change from Unlearned to Learning.
Since we are still learning, our grades have not yet changed to pass/fail.

 

In tatsuno-system+user2, 8 questions are solved, and it is interrupted.

 

Solve 8 questions and click the Stop button to end the study.

 

Use the forced grading function to grade.

Log in with your learningBOX owner account or a member with grade management privileges, and click [View Grades] on the side menu bar.

 

Click by issue.

Click on the quiz for which you have set the interruption function.

 

Click Force Scoring.

 

When the screen changes, click [Grade All] for the entire score, or [Grade] for individual scores.

 
Finally, click the OK button to execute the scoring.

 

Check learner performance

In the case of tatsuno-system+user1, the grade at the time of the interruption did not reach the passing grade. Therefore, it will fail the test.

 

In the case of tatsuno-system+user2, the status during the study will be switched to Pass because the grade at the time of the interruption has reached the passing grade.

 

Both grades can be viewed from Grade Management.
