Through our e-learning system, learningBOX, we've been able to help discover and train "AI Athletes"! We are pleased to announce that the preliminary round and certification competition of "The 0th U18 Singularity Battle Quest 2019" will be broadcasted nationwide on BS Fuji on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 5:30PM to 6:00PM. In this article, we would like to introduce our project plan with Singularity Battle Quest.

What is Singularity Battle Quest?

Singularity Battle Quest is a special program for all high school and vocational school students under the age of 18.
Currently under 18 years old and interested in blockchain or cyber security, or want to be a data scientist or AI engineer! This is a special program for all high school students, from those who are the future of AI, such as "I am interested in blockchain and cyber security" and "I want to be a data scientist and AI engineer", to those who are AI beginners, such as "I like games" and "Robots and drones sound fun". This is a special program to train expert "AI Athletes". Top-class AI technology-related companies have developed competitions for the development of future human resources!

This is the first round of selection before the certification competition

Here's what the first round is all about!

Answer 4 questions from each of the 5 quests, for a total of 20 questions.
Question format: Multiple-choice (Choose four options, fill in the blanks, etc.)
Writing format: CBT (online test format to be answered by computer)
Time: 60 minutes

[DQ] Data Quest: Data Science Related
[CQ] CyberQuest: Cyber Security Related
RQ] RoboQuest: Robotics Related
[XQ] UX Quest: UI/UX, design thinking related
[AQ] AI Quest: Artificial Intelligence in general

Competitions in each discipline at accredited competitions

DQ: Analyze past data of Tokyo's 23 wards and let the AI predict the statistics for a given day.
CQ: Students compete to see how many questions they can answer in practical information security tasks.
RQ: A time trial race in which AI robot cars are assembled and run independently.
XQ] : VR Lecture by Virtual YouTuber Mizuna-chan *This is not a competition.
AQ]: AI and humans that have machine-learned rock-paper-scissors play against each other, and compete for the winning percentage and processing speed.

Summary

"Singularity Battle Quest" is a special program for U-18 to discover and train future "AI athletes". If you are under 18 years old and want to be a data scientist or AI engineer and "I'm interested in blockchain and cybersecurity", as well as AI beginners such as "I like games" and "Robots and drones sound fun". This is a special program to train AI athletes using the latest teaching materials specially developed for this project by one of Japan's top companies in the field of artificial intelligence.

Our e-learning system, learningBOX, and Tokyo staff played an active role in this event, both in terms of system and support. We're looking forward to the TV broadcast, which will be aired on BS Fuji on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM! Don't miss it!
