regular (periodic) examination

Example of Regular Test Settings

This page introduces the options for creating questions and examples of settings on the administration screen when using learningBOX for regular exams.

Setting Options as a Test

A format similar to paper-based tests can be set by entering optional values when creating questions.

#shuffle_questions:false
#passing_score:Enter a passing score
#time_limit: Enter the number of seconds in half-width characters
#show_instant_result:false
#mode:normal
#movable:true
#restartable:false

The options are set as follows from the top.

The questions are displayed in the order in which they were created.
Set a passing score
Specify the time limit in seconds.
Collective grading
Create questions in normal mode.
You can move freely between questions.
You can only take the question once.

Settings in learningBOX

Register the question with the above options set.
Right click on the question you have created, or click on "Edit" to the right. Click on "Course Restrictions".
Or click on the blue boxed limit of frequency icon in the image.

The number of lessons can be set from 1 to 10, or unlimited, with a one-time distribution, just like a test.
The interval limit (hours) sets the interval between taking a course and retaking it. Please set up the interval in hours (up to 720 hours).
If the number is 0, you can retake the class without an interval.

In the "Learn" section, the number of times the question has been asked will be displayed.

4. After studying a single question, the message "You have reached the maximum number of lessons" will appear on the next open question and you will not be able to study it.

More detailed settings

By setting the start time of the exam, you can make it more like an exam.

1. Create a folder and move the questions into that folder.

Right-click on the folder and click "Set Publishing Period".

You can enter the start and end dates of the publication. You can also specify the time in 1-minute increments.

The folder will not be visible except during the open period. You can continue to answer the questions after the open period.
