{"id":124704,"date":"2026-02-25T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/learningbox.online\/?p=124704"},"modified":"2026-06-15T09:58:40","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T00:58:40","slug":"notice-learningbox5-0","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/learningbox.online\/en\/column\/notice-learningbox5-0\/","title":{"rendered":"[Advance Notice] Specification Changes for the Ver. 5.0 Release"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for your continued support of our services.<br>With the release of Ver. 5.0 scheduled for March 18, 2026, we will be updating the specifications for several key features.<br>We would like to inform you of the changes as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>[Change #1]<\/strong><br>Feature Renaming and Consolidation of Message Permissions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Affected Features<\/strong><br>Direct message, Message box<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Details of Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Name Change<\/strong><br>\u30fbRenaming: The \"Direct message\" feature will be expanded and renamed to \"Messages.\"<br>\u30fb Permission Update: \"Message box manager\" will be renamed to \"Message Manager.\"<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Authority Consolidation and Specification Changes<\/strong><br>\u30fbConsolidation: Management roles previously governed by \"Co-admin\" will be phased out and consolidated under \"Message manager\" under the message functions.<br>The new system will allow users with administrative privileges to create, view, send, edit, and delete direct messages.<br>Before the change, the first message could be posted only by authorized users, but after the change, the first post can be made by any participant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Future Roadmap<\/strong><br>The legacy \"Message Box\" feature is scheduled to be discontinued around December 2026 (Ver. 8.0).<br>*Data migration will not be performed upon discontinuation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Action Request<\/strong><br>Please assign \"Message manager\" to relevant users as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>[Change #2]<\/strong><br><strong>\u3010Only for customers subscribing Customization and eCommerce options\u3011<\/strong><br>Archived\/unarchived product<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Affected Features<\/strong><br>Training, curriculum, eCommerce, seminar functions<br>*These are hereinafter referred to as \"products\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Details of Changes<\/strong><br>When a Product status is changed (Archived\/Unarchived), its associated groups will now be automatically synchronized to reflect that same status.<br>This eliminates the need to manage Products and groups individually, streamlining operational management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>[Change #3]<\/strong><br>Advance Notice: Manage Contents Remewal (Re-post)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Affected Features<\/strong><br>Manage contents<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Details of Changes<\/strong><br>The \"Manage courses (\u03b2)\" will be transitioned to the official release and renamed to \"Manage contents.\"<br>Starting from Ver. 5.0, the interface will switch completely to this new version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u25a0 Action Request&nbsp;<\/strong><br>1. Dashboard (All users)<br>Following the Ver. 5.0 release, please update the \"Manage contents\" panel to the new URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Manage menu (Site customizer users)<br>Please move or hide the \"Manage courses (\u03b2)\" menu in your side menu settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. System language settings (Site customizer users)<br>System language changes made in the legacy page may not automatically transfer.
