Sayo Kyoritsu Hospital is an acute general hospital that serves as an infrastructure for the community with the philosophy of "Love, Trust, and Safety". Our staff members attend various training programs to support local medical care and provide a full range of services.
In addition to specialized training such as medical safety training, infectious disease control training, and NST training, we also provide a wide variety of training, including training in hospital operation and management, training to share future plans, and general education training that should be acquired as a member of society.
However, due to the large number of staff and complex working patterns, it was practically difficult for all staff to participate in the group training. We have been following up with busy staff members by lending them DVD recordings of lectures, but there were problems such as the inability to link staff information with performance and the difficulty in accurately grasping the level of understanding of the training.
It was a challenge for the hospital to create an environment where employees could learn flexibly on their own, regardless of time or location.
At that time, an acquaintance of mine introduced me to Tatsuno Information System's e-learning system, "learningBOX". We decided to move from group training to online training using learningBOX because we could distribute recordings of lectures as training materials on the web, save learning history, and manage performance.
The e-learning training allows staff to adjust their own schedules and study as needed, so they can control the balance between work and study with independence.
The administrator can now check the understanding of the training and provide detailed support using the test and report submission functions as well as the course history, enabling enhanced training results and the centralized management of smart information. In addition, we will continue to digitize existing materials, and in the future we hope to create our own curriculum.

In the future, we plan to conduct a survey about learningBOX within the tool, and based on the feedback from the staff, we will upgrade the content in the hospital to make it even more comprehensive. The ease of customization is also a big attraction.
