learningBOX upgraded to Ver. 2.17

Today,learningBOX upgraded from Ver. 2.16 to 2.17 is now available.

This article details Ver. 2.17.13 (released March 9, 2022), which adds various new features.

In this version update, the "course function" has been revamped to significantly change the way the study screen looks.
Many other features have been added, including improvements to existing functions and expansion of functions that can be linked via APIs.
Now, let me introduce the 2.17 series version upgrade in detail.
 

Expanded course functionality

The TOP of the study screen is now all unified with the course material, making it easier to customize as well as simpler looking.
 

Heading/Clearance Conditions

The conventional learning control function has been redesigned and is now a clear condition. More complex conditions can be set than before.
 

Selective content settings

This function allows the learner to select only one of several teaching materials to study.
 

Score chart

Original transcripts can now be created and distributed as content in the course.
 

Page Designer

The design of pages that can be created in the Site Customizer can now be changed more easily.
 

Media Management

By registering videos and teaching materials with learningBOX, they can now be used via CDN without having to upload media files for each content.
 

Display answers/corrections

You can view the answers and corrections to specific questions.
 

 Message box management role

Authorized users can send messages to groups and other users.
 

Video time display function

Video content times are now displayed on the "Find Curriculum" and "Select Course" screens.
 

Continuous video autoplay function

If there is more than one video content, they are now automatically played back in succession.
 

Curriculum/Course Descriptions

The description can be displayed on the "Find Curriculum" and "Select Course" screens.
 

Welcome page redisplay function

You can redisplay the welcome page.
 

Expanded functionality for checking compatible devices

The recommended environment for learningBOX is now automatically loaded and a [Back] button has been added to the list of compatible devices screen.
 

Expanded functionality for two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication can now be set up for specific groups.
 

Test mode settings

Test mode settings can now be used to more precisely set the display of grade details.
 

Permissions to access to Group management and Score management

For member management/grades management privileges, it is now possible to allow viewing only.
 

Group batch registration and download function

The CSV batch registration format for groups has been changed to a clearer display.
 

Breadcrumbs added to display locations

New breadcrumbs are now displayed on the "Public Courses," "Select Course," and "Course Details" screens.
 

Toggle display of detailed course description

The course and folder descriptions that appear at the top of the "Study" screen can now be configured to be displayed or not.
 

Basic Video Settings

Basic settings related to video, such as the range of the video's double speed setting and shadows, can be configured.
This function is available for video content with MOVIE Player version 2.1.0 or higher.
 

Immediate availability of design customization

Design customization can now be ordered from the order screen for immediate availability.
 

Adding authentication failure information to the access log

The access log now displays new information when authentication fails.
