Thank you for using learningBOX.
We are very excited to announce that learningBOX has been updated to Ver. 6.0 today.
Now let’s try the new features on your learningBOX.

New Features

More Flexible Course Management

Previously, permissions were managed primarily at the course, folder, or group level. This update introduces granular segment-based permissions, allowing you to grant access to specific groups or individuals. By tailoring segment permissions to each company, administrators can streamline course preparation and reduce the risk of configuration errors.

*For more details, refer to Management roles.

Bulk Permission Settings for Segment

You can now bulk-configure segment permission assignments using user or group CSV files. This allows you to add, delete, or overwrite permissions for multiple individuals or groups in a single upload, preventing manual errors, even when managing thousands of users or large-scale organizations.

*For more details, refer to Assign management roles with CSV Group batch registration/update.

Bulk Segment Settings for Multiple Courses

We’ve added a function to assign and update segments for multiple courses simultaneously directly from the Manage contents page. You can now select several courses and update their segments in one dedicated window, complete with a search function for easier configuration.

*For more details, refer to Manage contents.

Enhanced Filtering for Progress Records

We’ve expanded the filtering options available directly on the screen. These filters now seamlessly sync with Excel/CSV exports and notification email lists, eliminating the need for manual data processing. You can now easily execute tasks like identifying "users who joined during a specific period and completed their learning" or sending bulk emails to those with incomplete progress.

*For more details, refer to Progress Record.

Bulk Actions for Content Assignment, Deadlines and Access Periods

You can now assign multiple courses or content items to specific groups or users at once, and bulk-update deadlines and access periods. Configured dates can be easily verified in a list, helping you prevent errors. This significantly reduces the time required, especially when setting different period requirements for individual learners.

*For more details, refer to Manage content assignment.

Shortcut Creation Function

We’ve added a shortcut feature to the Content page, making it easy to place videos, quizzes, and other materials into different courses or folders. Since you can create shortcuts for multiple items at once, content management is now smoother and more efficient.
Additionally, you can now preview content directly from the page, and the default view now displays the most recently registered content first.

*For more details, refer to Content List (Across Courses and Folders).

New Filtering Item Added to Dashboard

In the course panel on the learner's dashboard, "Oldest deadline" will be newly added as a display order option. This makes it easier for learners to determine which courses should be prioritized at a glance, leading to the prevention of missed courses.
Also, admins can flexibly configure settings to display only courses matching specific conditions on the panel. Furthermore, the label display indicating due dates has been improved, making indicators clearer. This ensures that learners can manage their progress status with greater certainty.

*For more details, refer to Dashboard.

"Incomplete Only" Filter on the Select a Course Page

"Oldest deadline" is newly added to the filtering options for search results, allowing courses with closer due dates to be checked with priority.
Furthermore, a toggle switch "Incomplete only" is newly placed to filter courses or contents whose learning progress rate has not reached 100%.
Consequently, learners can intuitively grasp what they should study next and which assignments remain unfinished.

*For more details, refer to Select a course.

New Keys Added to Statistics

New keys are added to the statistics template. You can now easily export data—including due dates, actual progress, and login IDs—for every learner into a single Excel file, drastically reducing the time spent on performance aggregation and report generation.

*For more details, refer to Statistics.

Bulk Output of Learning Histories for Multiple Courses

The Progress record feature is now more convenient than ever. You can now export learning history across multiple courses as a unified statistics file using our new extraction template.

*For more details, refer to Report Output.
